Advertising is a specialisation. Hence, most of the courses available in India are either post-graduate courses or diplomas.
It is advisable to complete graduation in mass communication and journalism before pursuing a post-graduate course in advertising. However, it is not mandatory and you can study any other course that would be helpful in this field like B.A in English honours as well.
